Hrant Vardanyan
Hrant Vardanyan ((アルメニア語:Հրանտ Վարդանյան), 23 January 1949 - 19 April 2014)〔(Grant Holding owner Hrant Vardanyan dies at 65: Leading businessman succumbs to heart disease )〕 was a wealthy Armenian businessman. He was born and raised in Armenia with his 2 older sisters. He is the founder and chairman of Grand Holding, which includes Grand Candy, Grand Tobacco, Masis Tabak, and more.〔http://m.slaq.am/arm/news/191398?translit=1〕 He is the only businessman within society who is described in a positive manner. Throughout his life, he has created over 30,000 jobs for Armenians. In 2007 he proudly stated to be the 4th largest taxpayer in the country. He is commonly known for devoting his life to improving the economy of Armenia.
Hrant Vardanyan attended Kirkov No. 12 school, and in 1974 graduated from the State Engineering University of Armenia. Later, in 1990, he received a doctors diploma in economics. Throughout his life he has been awarded numerous awards such as the Anania award in 1999, and a gold medal from the Serzh Sargsyan, the president of Armenia.
